Bouquet and Boutonniere Memorial Charm

Remember your loved ones on your special day.

Brides typically choose the shape of their bouquets according to popular trends at the time of their wedding while the shapes are a personal preference and the type of flowers can be personal to the couple,

The Posy bouquet is typically round in shape and relatively simple in its arrangement. It is also popular for the ease of carrying and passing-off during the ceremony.

The Cascading bouquet is usually a large arrangement that tapers near the bottom. It can, and is often, made up of many types of flowers and is enhanced with Baby's Breath and different types of greenery, such as ivy.

The Presentation bouquet is most frequently composed of a long-stemmed bud, such as the Calla Lily, and is cradled in the bride's arms, rather than carried by the stems.

The word Boutonniere derives from the french word; “Buttonhole Flower.” Similar to a wedding bouquet, in the 16th century, boutonniere’s were used to ward off bad luck and evil spirits.

There are many types and styles of boutonniere’s to choose from. When worn at weddings, they often match the flowers of the bride, the groom, along with the groom’s men and the father of the bride all wear a boutonniere, adding a touch of elegance to the important event.

Our memorial charms are made with a split ring near the top through which you or your florist can fix to the bouquet or boutonniere using for example a suitable matching ribbon, twine, hessian wire or pins.
